TRAVIS C. NING

Travis has been working professionally in International Development for the past 10 years, living abroad for 9 of them. During this time, Travis has worked and lived in Paraguay, East Timor, Brazil and most recently in Mexico for a variety of agencies in the areas of child education and health. He holds a bachelors degree in Latin American Studies and a Masters Degree in International Administration.

Travis joined Starfish One-by-One in 2010. As Executive Director of Starfish, Travis aims to ensure that Starfish One-by-One continues to value quality over quantity in a manner that suits the specific needs of child beneficiaries. Travis sees that his job is to ensure that Starfish’s important resources are managed responsibly and in constant consultation with in-country indigenous staff to provide the most effective services that break forever the cycles of Guatemalan poverty.

Travis lives in Golden, Colorado with his wife Mariangeli and two sons, Theo and Otavio.
