OUR SIX YEAR COMMITMENT

When a young girl is selected to receive a scholarship, Starfish One by One sees her through all six years of higher education with monetary and nutritional aid, mentorship, and emotional support for the student and her families.

Starfish is unconditionally committed to paying for six years of higher education for each of its scholarship participants. We are equally committed to walking with each girl through the difficulties and triumphs of these years. Our vision is that every child will be surrounded by compassion as she learns about her world, opens her mind, and realizes her dreams.

The Starfish girls, their mentors, their families, and their sponsors here in the US (we) are all companions on this journey. In the end we too are transformed by our work with each young woman who achieves an education.
